BC was born on the East Coast of the US across the river from NYC, after years of struggle and challenges he set off on his motorcycle and explored the world. During this exploration while alone far out in the woods, a deep urge to write a poem came over him. After that experience writing the first half of his formative piece "New Possibilities" he continues to take in the greater flavor of the human experience and try to distill down the essence of what humanity is to him in this tumultuous time of change and expansion. Poems filled with rage and heartbreak make up the main body of his commentary on what humanity is doing with this gift of life; along with grief over what it could be, do, and accomplish. Since settling in Santa Cruz almost eight years ago he has been involved in the music, dance, and open mic culture of this beautiful biodiverse haven on the western coast. He continues to speak, act, perform, and stay engaged in the community
