Bio
Genoa Brown is a Santa Cruz, Ca born, professional singer, and instrumentalist. She began recording at the age of 15 and has continued to make music in and out of school, both as a career and a passion.
In college, she studied under renowned saxophonist Leo Potts at CSU Long Beach. Over the years, she has performed in hip hop, funk, and experimental bands, and has had the honor of touring and sharing the stage with artists such as SoVoSo, KRS-One, Del the Funky Homosapien, DJ Zac Hendrix, A-Plus, and Pharcyde, among others. Most recently she has played with the world touring band, AZA.

Artist Statement
The music she creates and collaborates on is shaped by a wide range of genres, but her deepest influences come from family: her two grandfathers, both jazz and blues instrumentalists, and her mother, whose lullabies are among her earliest memories of exploring music and harmony.
