Rev. Julianne Porras-Center is a pastor and poet inspired by the natural world, the communities who call it home, and the Spirit which dwells among them.

 

She holds degrees in English Non-Fiction Writing and Environmental Studies from Brown University, a Masters of Divinity from Yale Divinity School, and upon moving to Santa Cruz County, became a California Certified Naturalist.

 

She is the Executive Director of Somos Watsonville, a non-profit, bilingual café and community space which seeks to empower often marginalized communities in Watsonville to explore and experience spiritual, emotional, and physical wholeness.
