Writers of Color is pleased to sponsor The Garfield Park Library Friends Fundraiser Play, “Final Checkout” by Kathy Perrin and directed by Simon Hayward. The play is a murder mystery, originally performed in the Battleground Public Library in Washington State, where Kathy was the president of the Friends of the Battleground Public Libraries. This fundraiser will benefit the literacy programs at Garfield Park Library and Friends of the Santa Cruz Public Libraries. Please join us for this fun evening that includes performances by local actors, poets, and musicians.
